Industrial Internet is an important support to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and cultivate and develop advanced manufacturing industries. In recent years, China has accelerated the integration of a new generation of information technology and manufacturing, promoted industrial Internet platforms to enter enterprises, parks and industrial clusters, and made solid progress in the innovative development of industrial Internet.

According to the data of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, up to now, there are more than 3100 "5G+Industrial Internet" construction projects, including 700 new projects in the second quarter of this year. The average daily resolution of national top nodes has significantly increased to 150 million times. There are more than 150 featured platforms with certain industrial and regional influence, including more than 79 million industrial equipment connections of key platforms and more than 280000 industrial apps. According to the data of Tianyan, up to now, there are more than 94000 industrial Internet related enterprises in China, and more than 33000 newly registered enterprises will be added from January to June 2022.

"Through the practice of industrial Internet at home and abroad, we can see that the exploration of digital transformation has moved from efficiency change to value change, and from within the enterprise to industrial chain and value chain." Yu Xiaohui, president of the China Academy of Information and Communication Research and chairman of the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance, said that in particular, "5G+industrial Internet" has achieved breakthroughs and expansion, and through exploration and practice in the next two to three years, 5G will further enter the core systems and processes of industry.

The relevant person in charge of the Information and Communication Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology would introduce policy measures for further classification and guidance to promote the upgrading of industrial Internet.

The first is to focus on key industrial links, equipment interconnection, data innovation and application, equipment platform security and other key areas, layout a number of benchmark projects, develop a number of standards, and promote a number of landmark achievements. Secondly, focus on key areas of transformation, accelerate the construction of 5G fully connected factories in key industries, and accelerate the expansion of 5G from auxiliary production links to core links. In addition, it will focus on the application ecosystem and promote the industrial Internet to take root in industrial parks and county economies.
